| BEFORE + AFTER | 500 Main Street – Part 2.

Moving on to the Laundry room, situated to the right of the mudroom.  This is the space where the dogs were kept and they had scratched and chewed up all of the door casing [thank goodness the doors themselves were still good]! This space was a real bonus you don't find in small homes, having main floor laundry.

Cute farmhouse style mudroom with painted paneling.

RECAP

What we did…

◾ There was a random sink attached to the wall in the walk way from the back door so we removed it and patched it up.

◾ Proceeded with the same treatment on the floors as in the mudroom

◾ Installed new trim

◾ Built custom cabinetry to house a new sink and washer + dryer

before

WALLS:  We took out the sink attached to the wall – we removed that fixture and patched it up. We then painted.

FLOORING:  We peeled up the tile, repaired what needed to be repaired, and oil primed all of the subfloor eliminating the odor before installing my favorite flooring to work with from Mannington Floors. This is the same flooring we put in the mudroom and kitchen (details on that project to come soon)!

DOORS:  We went with the Tricorn black color again for the door. The same color we went for the front doors in the mudroom!

CABINETRY:  We built a custom cabinet to house the sink, washer and dryer – don't you love the window above the appliances? It's a perfect touch!
