Project Recap
Basement bathrooms tend to be the last space on the list to update—but with the right changes, they can make a big impact.
This project was all about simplifying the space and focusing on updates that truly improve how it looks and functions. The existing bathroom felt dated, with wallpaper and ceiling tiles that made the space feel closed in and stuck in time. By making a series of thoughtful, strategic updates, we were able to completely refresh the feel without a full gut renovation.
The transformation included removing the wallpaper and applying fresh paint throughout, replacing the ceiling tiles with drywall for a cleaner, more finished look, and installing a new vanity, mirror, and lighting. We also upgraded to a taller toilet for added comfort, installed a brand new shower with a built-in seat, and completed the space with new flooring and trim.
The result is a basement bathroom that feels clean, updated, and much more enjoyable to use—proof that you don’t always need a full renovation to create a meaningful transformation. Sometimes, it’s simply about making the right updates in the right places.
